All about that dough
Cookie dough? That I can eat raw?... Say what?!
Heck yes, our cookie dough is made to be eaten raw! Though many of us have eaten traditional raw cookie dough over the years, you're taking a serious risk! The raw eggs can carry Salmonella and the raw flour can carry E-Coli. Totally not chill. So to keep you in the clear, Doughp® is made without any eggs and our flour has been heat-treated to kill off unwanted bacteria! It's safe to get down with this dough.
Are there eggs in it?
Nope! Our dough is 100% egg-free. We use a vegan substitute for the eggs that makes this dough both edible - and bake-able!
So it's vegan? Gluten-free?
Not all of it! While we pulled the eggs, most of our cookie dough has added butter into the recipe for a creamy decadent treat just like you remember as a kid! We do carry a special vegan & GF option called #VeganLyfe - a chocolate chip cookie dough for those with some dietary restrictions.
Who makes your dough? In the Bay Area, a non-profit kitchen has been mixing up our dough since July '17! They're called The Bread Project and their bakery bootcamp helps low-income individuals get back on their feet.
In Las Vegas, we partnered with HELP of Southern Nevada to heat-treat all of our flour. (YES! that's right, you can't eat raw flour!) The flour goes into our cookie dough recipe right on site in Las Vegas. You can watch us making the dough multiple times throughout the day right behind a big glass wall!
Can I also bake it into cookies?
Hells to the yeah! Our favorite part is that this cookie dough goes both ways. You can eat it raw or bake it into cookies. 1-2 TBSP of chilled dough on an ungreased baking sheet @ 350 for 10-12 min. Boom! Fresh baked cookies. Eat what you want raw, bake what you want!
Is it kid-friendly? Ok for pregnant women?
Yep! By losing the eggs and heat-treating our flour, we've made a cookie dough that is safe for little ones and those with little ones in the oven!
I got my dough! Booyah! How long will it last?
We recommend popping it in the fridge and enjoying within 45 days (but you'll 100% finish it before then - hehe). Don't worry about rushing home with your dough as it's ok for up to two weeks at room temperature. Stockpiling your dough? Throw it in the freezer and it'll last for up to a year.
Where is this cookie dough made?
Our dough is mixed up by a non-profit copacker in Berkeley, CA - called The Bread Project! They're an amazing organization that employs low-income individuals to teach them skills for self-sufficiency. After their training completes, The Bread Projects works to help them find full-time employment in the community. This helps our dough really give back!

Do you ship your dough?
Indeed! This cookie dough will travel. We've partnered with Goldbelly to ship nationwide.

I want my dough! How fast will it ship?
We ship out Monday-Wednesday. When your dough ships, it'll arrive in less than 3-days. Goldbelly tracks our inventory levels, so you'll get to choose your ideal delivery date as far in advance as you like. (Great for birthday gifts! Purchase it & forget it! We'll handle the rest.)
Where can we visit you? We have storefronts in San Francisco and Las Vegas! Come try our dough and kick it with our staff at these insta-worthy storefronts. Come find us!
What flavors do you have? Since Doughp® was born in '17, we've made more than 35 different flavors! Holy cookie dough...We have a rotating set of 6 flavors in our SF store, and in our Vegas store we have 5 remixes to choose from or you can dough-it-yourself and make a custom creation!
